Bevel Gear Case

1. Remove the bevel gear case mounting screws.
2. Remove the bevel gear case (2) and front gear case (1) as a unit

from the front axle case (4).

(When reassembling)

• Apply grease to the O-ring (3) and take care not to damage it.
• Do not interchange right and left bevel gear case assemblies

and right and left gear case assemblies.

Front Gear Case and Axle Flange

1. Remove the axle flange mounting bolts.
2. Remove the axle flange (2).

(When reassembling)

• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1206D or equivalent) to joint

face of the axle flange (2) and the front gear case (1) after
eliminating the water, oil and stuck liquid gasket.

• Tighten the axle flange bolts and nuts diagonally in several

steps.
