14.10 Changing the parking light bulb
Note
Damage to reflector Reduced brightness.
–
Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease before
mounting.
Preparatory work
–
Switch off all power consumers and switch off the engine.
–
Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 115)

Main work
–
Pull cable sleeve

and the socket of parking light

carefully out of the housing.
–
Remove the bulb.
–
Position a new light bulb in the socket.
Parking light (W5W / socket W2.1x9.5d) ( p. 161)
–
Carefully position socket

with the bulb in the housing.
–
Mount cable sleeve


Finishing work
–
Refit the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 116)
–
Check the headlight setting. ( p. 121)
