Preparatory work
–
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. ( p. 10)

Main work

Remove screw

and lower the rear wheel with the swing arm as far as possible
without blocking the rear wheel. Fix the rear wheel in this position.
Info
Raise the wheel slightly to make it easier to remove the screw.

Move the shock absorber to the rear.

Remove spacers

on both sides.

Remove shaft seal rings

on both sides.

Mount special tool

Mounting tool, heim joint (50329000044) ( p. 272)
–
Press out the heim joint by screwing in the screw.
