Warning
Danger of accidents Oil or grease on the brake discs reduces the braking effect.
–
Always keep the brake discs free of oil and grease.
–
Clean the brake discs with brake cleaner when necessary.
–
Clean and oil the dust boots and inner fork tubes of both fork legs.
Universal oil spray ( p. 189)
–
Press the dust boots back into their installation position.
–
Remove excess oil.
Finishing work
–
Take the motorcycle from the front lifting gear. ( p. 90)
–
Remove the rear of the motorcycle from the lifting gear. ( p. 88)
12.6 Removing the passenger seat

–
Insert the ignition key in seat lock 1 and turn it clockwise.
–
Raise the rear of the seat, push it towards the rear, and remove it upwards.
–
Remove the ignition key from the seat lock.
