Main work

Move the brake fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

Loosen screw.

Remove cap
with membrane
.

Add brake fluid to the
MAX
level.
Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 (

Position the cap with the membrane. Mount and tighten the screws.
Info
Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.

Checking the front brake linings

Reduced braking efficiency caused by worn brake linings.

Change worn brake linings immediately. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be pleased to help.)

Reduced braking efficiency caused by damaged brake discs.

If the brake linings are not changed in time, the steel brake lining carriers grind on the brake disc. The braking effect is greatly
reduced and the brake discs are destroyed. Check the brake linings regularly.
