Wall/Ceiling Mounting with a Junction Box
Before you start:
Junction boxes are sold separately. Consult your KT&C Sales
representative for more information.
Steps:
1.
Attach the drill template (supplied) to the wall or ceiling where the
camera is to be mounted.
2.
Drill holes in the wall using the number “2” holes on the drill
template. Refer to the Figure 2-4.
3.
If you need to route cables through the wall (or ceiling), cut a cable
hole in the center to the drill template. Skip this step, if you want
to route the cables on the surface of the wall/ceiling.
4.
Secure the junction box to the wall; use expansion anchors if
required.
6.
Connect/route the camera cables.
7.
Hook the camera to the junction box with the safety rope. Refer to
the Figure 2-6.
8.
Secure the camera to the junction box with screws.
9.
Adjust the image and focus. Please refer to the sections 2.3 and 2.4
for more detailed information.
