NOTE
The pressure booster system is factory-set to the operating data indicated on the
name plate.

The break tank package booster set for fire fighting has been primed and
vented.
1. Switch on the master switch.

The green LED lights ups and signals the system's readiness for operation.
6.1.5 Checklist for commissioning/start-up

Compare the power supply data against the name plate data.

Check/measure the earthing system.

Check the mechanical connection to the water supply system. Re-tighten the flanges and pipe
unions.

Prime and vent the break tank package booster set for fire fighting from the inlet side.

Check the mains water supply.

Check that all cables are firmly connected to the terminals inside the control unit.

Check the direction of rotation.

Check the start pressure and stop pressure; re-adjust if necessary.

Test the proper function of the dry running protection equipment. If not fitted, make a
relevant note in the commissioning report.

After the pump set has been running for 5 to 10 minutes, vent it again.

Check the pre-charge pressure.

Enter any deviations from the name plate or order documentation in the commissioning
report.

Complete the commissioning report together with the operator / user and instruct the
operator / user as to the function of the unit.
