The safety cable (1) applies the parking brake (3) if the machine breaks away from the tractor
while it is driving.

To attach the safety cable (1) to the machine, attach the safety cable (1) to the ring (2) on
the parking brake (3). To do this, pull the safety cable (1) through the smaller loop of the
safety cable (1) and through the ring (2).

To attach the safety cable (1) to the tractor, attach the other end of the safety cable (1) to a
suitable point at the back of the tractor.
„ Ensure that the safety cable (1) cannot slip or become detached.

Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to page 25 .
„ Place the wheel chocks (1) tightly up against the wheel, in front of and behind it, to prevent
the machine from rolling away.
8.4 Locking/releasing stop cock
