Repairs, maintenance and settings by technicians
This chapter describes repair, maintenance and adjustment work on the machine which may be
performed by qualified technicians only. The chapter "Personnel qualification of the technicians"
must be read and observed in full,

Machines that are not repaired, maintained or set by technicians can exhibit faults caused by
a lack of knowledge. As a result, people may be seriously injured or killed.
Only an authorised technician may carry out repair, maintenance and setting work at the
machine.

Servicing the brake system
WARNING
Risk of injury resulting from damage to the brake system
Damage to the brake system may impair the operational safety of the machine and cause
accidents. People may be seriously injured or killed as a result.
Adjustment and repair work on the brake system must only be performed by authorised
professional workshops or recognised brake services.
Have the brakes checked regularly by a specialist workshop.
Have damaged or worn brake hoses replaced immediately by a specialist workshop.
Irregularities or malfunctions in the brake system must be rectified immediately by a
specialist workshop.
Only a machine with an intact brake system may be used for work in the field or for
travelling on roads.
Changes to the brake system must not be made without the approval of KRONE.
KRONE does not accept any warranty claims for natural wear, defects caused by
overload or changes made to the brake system.
