Locking screws on the gearboxes
INFORMATION
The tightening torques only apply to assembly of locking screws, viewing glasses, ventilation
and breather filters and bleed valves in gearboxes with cast housings or aluminium or steel
housings. The term “locking screw” includes the drain plug, the inspection screw as well as
the ventilation and breather filters.
The table only applies to locking screws with external hexagon together with copper seal ring
and for bleed valves made of brass with shaped seal ring.

Checking/changing blades
The blades must be changed identically on both right and left machine side. The procedure
used on the left side of the machine is described below. The same applies for the right side of
the machine.
NOTICE
Damages to the machine when raising the blade cassette
The machine will be damaged if blades cassettes are raised when they are not inserted and
locked.
Ensure that both blade cassettes are properly pushed in and locked before the blade
cassettes are raised.
