The relief spring (1) must be adjusted so that only the pick-up is relieved.
Make the following settings equally on the right-hand and left-hand side of the machine:
To adjust the relief spring (1), loosen or tighten the nuts (2) at the eyelet bolt (3).

The longer the crops, the smaller the required diameter of the stepped pulley (2) and the less
twine is tied around the round bale.
Place the two twines (1) around one of the 3 stepped pulleys in position [I], [II] or [III].
