2.6.1 Heating with room thermostat
Connect the room thermostat to the
room thermostat socket.
Set selector switch to
= Heating with room thermostat
Set desired room temperature. The space heater
heats up. When the internal temperature of the
appliance r 40° C (factory setting), the
fan is set into operation. The burner switches off
when the set room temperature is reached. The
burner is automatically switch on again when the
room temperature falls below this value.
De-commissioning
Turn the room thermostat to its lowest value or
set selector switch to „0“. The fan will repeatedly
start up in order to remove residual heat from
the space heater. Do not switch off at the mas-
ter switch while heating. Use the device switch
instead. Otherwise, the device will be destroyed,
as there will be no after-running of the cooling air
blower.
2.6.2 Heating without room thermostat
Set selector switch to
= Heating without room thermostat
The mobile heating unit heats up. When the
internal temperature of the appliance reaches
+40° C (factory setting), the fan is set into opera-
tion. If the set temperature (factory setting 85° C)
is exceeded, or if the temperature falls below this
level, the burner is in set on or off again, as the
case may be.
De-commissioning
Set the selctor switch to „0“. The fan will repea-
tedly start on in order to remove residual heat
from the space heater.
Do not switch off at the master switch while hea-
ting. Use the device switch instead. Otherwise,
the device will be destroyed, as there will be no
after-running of the cooling air blower.

= Ventilation
The fan runs continuously without the burner for
room ventilation.

2.7 Burner
Please note the following points when you
choose the burner:
The burner must be CE approved
• the burner control must have a prepurge period
of at least 30 seconds
• the burner control must be phase sensitive
• the air pressure switch on the burner has to be
adjusted so that in case of lack of combustion
air, the burner is shut off before the amount of
CO in the fluegasses reaches 1000 ppm.
• for natural gas the CO range must be 9 – 10 %
• for propane/butane the CO range must be
10 – 11 %
• the burner must be suitable for the dimensions of
the combustion chamber of the appliance
• the heat input of the burner must be equal or
must be adjusted to the heat input value on the
type plate of the appliance
