The IRD-1 Modulator/Demodulator
The
IRD-1
is bidirectional IR modulator/demodulator. It is designed to be part of a chain of signal transmission where an IR signal must be modulated or demodulated to accommodate devices that require either
a modulated or a demodulated signal, such as the
TP-574
,
TP-573
, other Kramer IR extender transmitter/receiver, or a Kramer RC series room controller.
The
IRD-1
is powered externally by a compatible device, for example, the
TP-573
. Power is received via the 3.5mm mini jack sockets on the
IRD-1
.
