Rotation and delivery direction

The following definition applies with respect to the rotation and delivery direction of
external gear pumps for pump connections positioned below the drive shaft:

Looking at the pump shaft end, the pump-
ing flow is from left to right when the shaft
is moving clockwise.

Looking at the pump shaft end, the pump-
ing flow is from right to left when the shaft
is moving counterclockwise.

BTH

S = Suction side

P = Pressure side

BT

BT series pumps work independently of the rotational direction.
