2.0 ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
2.1 Installation Planning
NOTE: Follow all national and local electrical codes.
To reduce the risk of fire, do not store or use gasoline or other flammable
vapors and liquids in the vicinity of the heater.
This appliance is to be set flush with framing to allow facing material
to cover the unit up to the finishing edge surrounding the glass front.
An optional finishing trim kit is available. The OS45-FTK/OS60-FTK
provides an additional 3/4” (19mm) of finished edge depth for your
desired finishing material to butt against.
It can also be hardwired or plugged into a receptacle (power cord
supplied).
Select a suitable location that is not susceptible to moisture and is
away from drapes and furniture.

2.3 Power
This appliance is rated at 120VAC, 60Hz, 1500W. Install on a dedicated
15 Amp (or higher) breaker. Verify the grounded outlet is in good
working condition and the plug is not loose. Never exceed the
maximum amperage for the circuit. DO NOT plug other appliances
into the same circuit.
