3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

–  Only connect the device to an easily accessible socket so that you can quickly disconnect it in the event of a

malfunction.

–  Only connect the device if the electrical supply voltage of the socket corresponds to the specification on the

type plate.

–  Do not operate the device if it has visible damage or if the power cord or power plug is defective.
–  If the power cord of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service

or a similarly qualified person.

–  Do not open the device casing, leave the repairs to specialists. Contact a specialist workshop for this pur-

pose. Liability and warranty claims are excluded in the event of repairs carried out independently, improper
connection or incorrect operation.

–  Only parts that correspond to the original device may be used for repairs. This device contains electrical and

mechanical parts that are essential for protection against sources of danger.

–  Never store the device in such a way that it can fall into the sink or water.
–  Never reach for an electrical appliance if it has fallen into water. In such a case, disconnect the power plug

immediately.

–  Do not immerse the device itself or the power cord or plug in water or other liquids. Risk of electric shock!
–  Never touch the power plug with wet hands.
–  Always disconnect the power plug before cleaning the device.
–  Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning.
–  Only use the device in dry indoor areas. Never operate it in damp rooms or in the rain.
–  While operating the device, never hold onto the objects inside of it and never reach into the container.

Risk of injury!

–  When using hot liquids in the tank, they may spray out or hot steam may escape.

Danger of burns!

–  Make sure that children do not play with the unit. Keep the device out of the reach of children.

Also make sure that children do not have access to the device during use to avoid possible accidents.

–  Do not put any body parts or knives, etc. into the blender during operation. Risk of injury!
–  If the blade fails or breaks, switch off the device immediately. Do not reach into the container.

Risk of injury!

–  Do not place the device near flammable objects, such as curtains.
–  Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop and don’t let it touch hot surfaces such as

stove tops, ovens, etc.

–  Keep the unit, power plug and power cord away from open flames and hot surfaces.
–  Do not bring the power cord into contact with hot objects.
–  Do not cover the device, e.g. with a cloth or similar.
–  Do not remove the container until the motor has completely run down.
–  The blades are extremely sharp! There is a risk of injury!
–  Do not exceed the maximum capacity.

–  Never expose the device to high temperatures (heating, etc.) or weather conditions (rain, etc.).
–  Only use the device when it is placed on a flat, stable and insensitive surface.
–  Never immerse the device, device plug and power cord in water for cleaning, never place it in a dishwasher,

and do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning. Otherwise, the device may get damaged.

–  Do not use any solvent-based, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents (e.g. oven or grill spray) or cleaning

utensils (e.g. pot sponges or similar). These can scratch the surface.

–  Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
–  When switching on the device, press the lid lightly onto the vessel to prevent it from coming loose.
–  Do not use pointed or metal objects to remove ingredients from the container. Rather, use a plastic or woo-

den scraper.

–  Please place the lid completely on the container during operation.
–  Avoid leaving the unit in operation without contents for more than 2 minutes. This can lead to extremely high

temperatures in a very short time, which in turn can cause damage to the device.

–  In the event of an overload, the unit will automatically be switched off by the overload mechanism. Please

then remove some of the food from the vessel and wait a few minutes until the unit is ready to operate again.

–  When mixing hot liquids, please remove the centerpiece of the lid to avoid a pressure build-up in the container.

4. SETUP AND OPERATION

4.1 BEFORE THE FIRST USE

1.  Remove all transport safety and packaging parts and keep them away from children -

danger of suffocation!

2.  Before the first use, all removable parts (1, 2, 3, 4 and 11) except the base (5) must be cleaned with

warm water. Follow our cleaning and care instructions.

3. Wipe the base (5) with a well-wrung, damp cloth.

4.2 OPERATION

1.  Prepare your ingredients. Especially heavy or hard ingredients should be chopped before you put them into

the container.

2. Place the blender on a flat and dry work surface and remove the container (3) from the base (5).
3.  Remove the cover (2) and fill the container (3) with your ingredients. We recommend that you first add the

solid ingredients and then the liquid ingredients.

4.  Make sure not to exceed the maximum capacity.
5.  Place the lid (2) on the container (3) and place it on the base (5). There is a safety mechanism in the device.

Please place the container (3) stably on the base so that the safety mechanism is triggered.

6.  Set the speed control knob (7) to the MIN position. Turn the On/Off switch (6) to ON and only then turn the

speed control knob (7) to the desired speed.

7. Set the switch (6) to OFF if you want to turn off the blender.
8.  The device has a „Pulse“ function. To use it, press the PULSE knob (8) and hold it down. The unit will run at ma-

ximum speed in this mode until you release the switch.

9.  Allow the motor to come to a complete stop before removing the container (3) from the base (5). Never re-

lease it while the blender is still on.

Be careful when transferring hot food into the blender or when removing the cover (2) from the container (3).
Hot steam could escape unexpectedly. Never process boiling food in this container. Danger of burns!
