Playing/stopping a pattern (Live mode)
When this unit is turned on, it first enters this state (Live mode). Press the LIVE but

ton to return to this state. If you are unsure about operations, try pressing this button.
1.
Press the
(PLAY) button to play the pattern and the rhythm.
2.
Use buttons 1 to 13 to play each part, or turn the TEMPO knob to change the tempo.
3.
Press the
(PLAY) button again to stop the pattern.
TIP
Press the
(PLAY) button while holding down the SHIFT button to
pause. To resume from Pause mode, press the
(PLAY) button while
holding down the SHIFT button again.

When you press the PROGRAM SELECT button, it enters the standby state
to load a program, and the PROGRAM SELECT button blinks.

Turn Parameter knob1&4, and select a program that you want to load.
TIP
You can also select 16 programs in the same BANK by pressing the corre-
sponding buttons 1 to 16.
3.
When you press the PROGRAM SELECT button again, the program will be
loaded.
