Managing the Switch Using SNMP
The Managed Information Base (MIB) is a collection of information organized hierarchically and used to manage
network devices (such as router and switches) in a communication network. MIB is most often associated and
managed using the SNMP.
The switch’s NOS provides a set of MIBs that are used to configure the switch using SNMP by any SNMP browser.
