5.8 Prueba de componentes
The Component Test function allows initiating leak test for the vehicle's EVAP system. The scan tool itself
does not perform the leak test

but commands the vehicle’s on-board computer to start the test. Different
vehicle manufacturers might have different criteria and methods for stopping the test once it has been
started. Before starting the Component Test, refer to the vehicle service manual for instructions to stop
the test.
La función de prueba de componentes permite realizar una prueba de fugas para el sistema EVAP del
vehículo. La herramienta de escaneo en sí no realiza la prueba de fuga, sino que ordena a la
computadora de a bordo del vehículo que inicie la prueba. Los diferentes fabricantes de vehículos
pueden tener diferentes criterios y métodos para detener la prueba una vez que se ha iniciado. Antes de
comenzar la prueba de componentes, consulte el manual de servicio del vehículo para obtener
