5 .2 .3 If the Plate’s Front End
is Visible From the Top

IMPORTANT
• When the plate’s tip extends to the guide, refer to
“5 .2 .5 If the Plate’s Mid-section is the Only Portion
Visible From the Top Door’s Opening”(p. 59) to eject the
plate .

Hold the lever up, and remove the cas-
sette .
IMPORTANT
• Pull out the cassette slowly so as not to scratch the
plate .

Check the inside of the device, then close
the top door .
Make sure that no dust is on the yellow portion
inside of the device . If dust is present, wipe it off
with a dry, soft cloth .
6 . Remove the plate at the bottom from
the rear door’s opening .
IMPORTANT
• Make sure the plate does not hit or rub against the
rear door or any other component .
7 . Push the guide back into place until a
click is heard, indicating that it has at -
tached to the hooks on each side .
IMPORTANT
• Closing the rear door while the guide is still down
could cause the rear door to break .

8. Check the inside of the device, then
close all of its doors .
• Before closing the top door,
make sure that no dust is on the yellow portion
inside of the device . If dust is present, wipe it off
with a dry, soft cloth .
9 . Load the plate into the cassette, and
perform the image erase process .
