Correcting text and input precautions
To delete a part of the entered text:
Press the [

] or [

] key to move the cursor (_) below the character to be deleted, and
then press the [Clear/Stop] key.
To change entered characters:
Press the [
*
] or [
)
] key to move the cursor (_) below the character that you wish to
change, and then enter the new character. The entered character is inserted at the cur-
sor’s position.
Entering text with the keypad keys:
To enter a character with the same key used to enter the previously entered character,
press the [
)
] key before entering the next character. (Refer to the example on the pre-
vious page.)
To enter a space:
Press the [0] key in the keypad.
To stop entering text:
Press the [Reset] key.
Press the [1] key.
