The date and time of recording, file name, and
user note can be imprinted into the image. To
add a user note to an image, see section 6.4.
Select the information to be imprinted by
checking the appropriate boxes.
Click the appropriate position button to select
the corner to imprint the data. If the within-area-
marquee check box is selected, the data
appears inside the area marquee in the position
selected. For more about the area marquee, see
section 7.11.
The font-setup and font-color button allow the
attributes of the imprinted text to be specified.
See the Master notes on page 33 for more
information.
The relative size of the imprinted data varies with
image size. To cancel the imprinting function,
click the reset button.
When the file is saved, the data is embedded
into the image. Always rename the file to protect
the original image data. RAW data cannot be
saved as 16-bit TIFF files.
