7.4 Exposure with Unitless

7 .4 .2 Exposure preparations
Make the following preparations when exposing using
unitless. The following procedure is for an example in
which a wired connection is in operation between this
device and a higher system .
IMPORTANT

• When this device is being used in unitless, charge it
when a notification that the battery level is low is dis

played .
• Check the settings for the AeroSync button, and initial
detection level on the system monitor screen .

Register the DR Detector in this device
that is to be used in unitless .
• For operation of the DR Detector, refer to
"AeroDR Operation Manual" .
IMPORTANT
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
• When an DR Detector which does not support Aero
Sync mode is used, an error message appears and
registration will not be permitted .
• The communication speed may be reduced when DR
Detector images are transmitted simultaneously with
host output .
If the communication speed is reduced, make sure
there are no output reservations on the system moni-
tor screen (system monitor tab) and then turn off host
output. After all examinations are complete, turn host
output back on .
The device switches between [ON] and [OFF] every
time [Output] is pressed.

Import the examination information to be
used for the exposure using the portable
X-ray device .

Confirm that an Ethernet cable is connected to
this device .
•
Press [Refresh] on the list screen on this device.
•
The latest examination information is imported
from the higher system by pressing the [Refresh]
button .

To input examination information manually, change the
screen to the patient registration screen .

Remove the Ethernet cable connected to
the DR Detector registration side hub from
this device .

Unplug the power cable from the outlet
when charging this device .

Complete the exposure preparations .

• It is all right to keep power of this device and the DR
Detector on .
