„ Data Protection
Data protection can be specified so that the saved target settings will not be deleted or changed by accident.
When the data protection is set, some menu options relating to the target cannot be selected, and target overwrite
measurement cannot be performed.
Memo
Protect data is set to “OFF” when the instrument is shipped from the factory.
Operating Procedure Start the procedure from the <Target menu> - <Data management> screen.

Use [

] or [

] to move the cursor to “Protect data”,
and then press the [Confirmation] key.
The <Protect data> screen is displayed.

] or [
▼
] to move the cursor to the desired item.
Settings
{ OFF : Do not protect any data.
{ ON : Protect all data.

Press the [Confirmation] key.
The selection is confirmed and the screen returns to the
<Data management> screen . When protection is turned
ON, the key icon indicating data protection is turned ON
will be displayed in the status bar.
Notes
If [ESC] is pressed without pressing the [Confirmation]
key, the settings will not be changed and the screen will
return to the <Data management> screen.
