Connections

2. Attaching/Detaching a Battery

This instrument uses a dedicated lithium-ion battery (CM-A223).

CAUTION

•

Do not use any battery other than the dedicated lithium-ion battery. Doing so may cause the battery to rupture or result in
decreased battery life.

•

Do not touch or short-circuit the terminals in the battery compartment. Doing so may damage the instrument.

How to Attach

Turn the power OFF.

Power switch

Open the battery compartment cover
located on the back of the data
processor.

Battery compartment cover

Remove the screw.

While pressing on the lithium-ion
battery, slide the battery until a “click”
can be heard. To detach the battery, slide
it in the opposite direction.
