Paper Presetting

Each paper tray has been preset with paper specifications such as size or type for the paper to be loaded. 
This section describes how to temporarily use another paper than any specified in the Tray Setting.

6.6.1

Paper Setting Outlines

The following five setting items are provided as the paper setting:

Air Assist is not provided for the post inserter of 

Folding Unit FD-503

 and 

Post Inserter PI-502

NOTICE

Dehumidify Mode is provided only for the trays of 

Paper Feeder Unit PF-703

 attached with the optional 

De-

humidifier Heater HT-505

. The paper feeder unit has three trays; however, up to two dehumidifier heaters 

can be attached.

The paper setting offers three types of operation depending on what the setting is intended for.

6.6.2

Paper Presetting Outlines

This section describes the Paper Presetting which allows you to make the paper setting temporarily from the 
Copy Screen.

Tray Setting and Paper Setting Register/Delete can be made from the Machine Screen. For details, see Sec-
tion 3 of the POD Administrator's Reference.

Paper Presetting consists of the following paper sizes and conditions that can be specified as desired.
