Detection of
misfeed at transfer
section • The registration sensor (PS5) is not blocked even after the lapse of a given
period of time after the registration roller driving is started.
• The paper does not unblock the exit sensor (PS8) even after the lapse of a
given period of time after the registration roller driving is started.
Detection of paper
left in transfer
section • The registration sensor (PS5) is unblocked when the power switch is turned
ON, a door or cover is opened and closed, or a misfeed or malfunction is reset.
• The loop detection sensor (PS6) is unblocked when the power switch is turned
ON, a door or cover is opened and closed, or a misfeed or malfunction is reset.
