2.4 To Use Machine When Power Save Indicator Lights
The power save indicator indicates either that the machine is in the power
save mode, or that the weekly timer is functioning. The machine is not oper-
ational as it is.
To activate the machine

Position the original.
– Pressing any key also returns the machine to an operational state.
If the machine has been in the power save mode, it becomes available
for operaions.
If the machine has been applied the weekly timer, the Basic Screen ap-
pears. The message “Please enter the password ”appears on the
screen. Entering an appropriate password will activate the machine
during non-business hours. For details, refer to page 2-40.

Detail
The power save function has two modes: the Low Power mode and the
Sleep mode. For details, refer to page 2-35 to page 2-36.
The power save mode can be activated manually. For details, refer to
page 2-37.
