5.9.13 Replacing the Digital Power Supply Cooling Fan
This section describes the instructions on how to replace the digital power supply cooling fan.

The works in this section can be performed using only the standard tools.

Remove the electric component mount panel.

8 hex/Phillips-head screws (M4 x 8)
Loosen all screws.

Remove the digital power supply cooling fan
cable connector (JP49).

Remove the fan bracket.
•
2 screws (M4 x 8)

Remove the fan motor.
•
2 screws (M4 x 8)

Install the new fan motor.
•
2 screws (M4 x 8)
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power supply circuit breaker and unplug the power cable from the
equipment whenever you disassemble/assemble the equipment.

When removing the connector, hold a notch
on the connector without pulling a cable.
Giving a strong pull to the cable may cause
it to be broken.
