Replacement of blades - HDS system
CAUTION
Cutting hazard!
Use care handling sharp components. Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
including heavy gloves.
Failure to comply could result in minor or moderate injury.

Perform the replacement of the blades if there is the slightest doubt whether the blades have been damaged to ensure
the safety against loss of rotating parts.
Prior operation:
Place the implement in safe conditions for maintenance.
To replace the blade, proceed as follows:
1. Put the blade (2) in front position so that the bolt (1) can
fall out through the hole in the stone protector.
2. Remove the nut (3) and then the the bolt (1) .
3. Remove the old blade (2) .

4. Check all blade bolts (2) on the discs regularly with the
gauge (1) (in the spare parts package).
NOTE: When the gauge (1) can get over the blade bush
(2) , the blade must be replaced immediately.

5. Put in place the new blade (2) .
6. Install the bolt (1) and the nut (3) .
7. Torque the nut (3) to 95 N·m ( 70.07 lb ft ).
