7 - MAINTENANCE
Every 600 hours
Bevel gearbox above the cutter bar - oil change
This bevel gearbox drives the cutterbar.
Use SAE 80W90 to maintain the oil level.
The oil capacity is approximately 0.7 L ( 0.2 US gal ).
1. Position a catch pan under the gearbox and remove the
drain plug (2) .
2. Raise the cutter bar to vertical position to drain the oil.
3. Allow all of the gear oil to drain out. Dispose of the oil
in accordance with local environmental regulations.
4. Reinstall the drain plug (2) .
5. Remove the breather/fill plug (1) and add the specified
amount of gear oil. The oil level is correct when the oil
is filled to
(2) while the implement is horizontal.
6. Reinstall the breather/fill plug (1) .
