Editing the content of a view
When you edit a view, you can add or remove gauges, resize them and save that view
with a name of your choice.
Prerequisites
Edit View
is only available if the active view is not a predefined view.
There is at least one layout created. In this context, the different combinations of views
is called
layout
. Each view contains one or more “gauges”.
Context
In a large system with many sensors in simultaneous use, it can be useful to have
different ways of having the information presented. According to the operating scenario
or your personal preferences, you can choose to edit the content of a view or creating a
new one and apply that selection to your current presentation.
The TV80 has a built-in gauges library with lots of visual elements that can be placed
in the sensor views. The gauges will help you identify visually the data received from
different sensors. Depending on the gauge selected and the properties assigned to it, your
presentation will show different information. You can choose to place as many gauges as
you want in a view to make your operation visually easier.
Procedure

Select the view you want to edit.
The active view is identified with a thicker border.

Move the cursor to the right side of the view.
The
View
shortcut menu opens.

Select
Edit View
.
The
Designer
module opens.

Depending on your needs, you can:
a
Select
Add
on the top bar if you want to add a new gauge.
b
Select
Remove
if you want to delete a selected gauge.
c
Select the
Rescale
buttons in order to enlarge or reduce all the gauges in a view.

Select
Save
and then
Close
to save all the parameters and close the Designer module.
