Auto Configuration dialog box
The
Vertical Tx Sector
function is used to change the vertical opening angle in horizontal
and vertical swaths. If you select Auto , the sector is defined by the current range. Use the
Auto Configuration
dialog box to define for which ranges the
Vertical TX sector
is set to
Narrow , Normal or Wide .
How to open
Select the middle of the
Vertical Tx Sector
button.
You open this function from the
Active
menu. Select
Auto Configuration
.
Description
Select which range you want to apply to each sector
setting.

Hull Unit Control dialog box
The
Hull Unit Control
dialog box allows you to lower and hoist the transducer. The dialog
box also provides status information about the transducer position. You can monitor the
current position of the transducer, and make changes to the position defaults.
How to open
To open the
Hull Unit Control
dialog box, select the
Hull Unit
button on the top bar.
Description
To lower the transducer select
Down
. To hoist the
transducer select
Up
. To move the transducer to its
predefined middle position, select
Middle
.
The numerical value shown in the
Hull Unit Control
dialog
box measures the vertical travelling distance. It stops when
the transducer reaches the middle position, and shows
you the vertical distance. It stops when the transducer is
fully lowered, and shows you how far down this is. It stops
when the transducer is fully retracted, and shows you that the vertical distance is 0 (zero).
