While the transducer is moving the indicator lamp flashes, and an audible signal is
sounded. When the requested position has been reached, the indicator lamp is lit, and
the audible signal stops.

Presentation modes
On the Mk3 Operating Panel, the requested user setting or presentation mode is chosen
with a single button. To choose
which
function to apply open the
Operating Panel
page. Select
Mode Selection
to specify what you want to use the button for.
Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the settings or modes.
User Settings
Any user setting selected on the Operating Panel is identified in the upper left
corner of the
Horizontal
view. The identifying number refers to the
User Setting
number on the
Operating Panel
page. Click on the text to make it larger. Click
one more time to restore the original font size.
Presentation modes
All echoes offered by the ST90 system are shown in rectangular
views
.
Combinations of these views are organized in
presentation modes
. Each
presentation mode offered by the ST90 system provides a selection of views in a
predefined pattern. You must first find the presentation mode that meets your
operational requirements, then you can change the size of the individual views.

Target Marker
During normal operation, some echoes are clearly more interesting than others. In
many situations specific echoes may be regarded as
targets
. To set up the ST90 system
to provide such information, you can start
target tracking
.
Place the cursor over the echo you wish to track. Press
Target Marker
. The tracked
target is regarded as an
object
, and it is identified with a circle and two lines. The
bearing line is automatically locked on the object to reflects its bearing. A new
manually initiated tracked object is automatically given priority status. If another
