Adjust the release current on the
Motor Protecting Switch
(S301) according to the
3-phase voltage in use.
• 230 VAC: 5.5 A (Maximum)
• 380/440 VAC: 4 A

Venting the transducer shaft sleeve
The hull unit was lubricated as a part of the production process. It was thus provided fully
lubricated when delivered to the vessel. Additional lubrication of the hull unit must only
take place when required. Even when the transducer shaft sleeve is fully lubricated, small
air pockets may expand if the MF90 system is used in a very warm climate. In some cases,
these air pockets have made it difficult to lower and hoist the transducer.
Prerequisites
The following specific tool is required for this task:
• Adjustable spanner (Wrench)
Context
The procedure can be repeated if the movements of the transducer shaft are perceived as
slow.
