Description
Use the functions on the
Cosmetics
menu to turn "cosmetic" elements in the sonar
presentation on or off. The majority of the functions are on/off buttons to enable or disable
"cosmetic" elements in the sonar views. The function is not available for the
Inspection
views.
Note
Before you can change the settings related to a view, you must click inside the view to
activate it. The changes you make are by default only valid for the active view.

Motion function
In selected views you can control how the vessel symbol shall "behave" in the presentation.
The way the vessel moves in the presentation can be chosen either
true or relative .
How to open
This function is opened from the
Display
menu. It is not available in all the views.
Description
The following options are available:
True Motion
In True Motion mode, the view is kept geographically motionless. The vessel symbols
moves around in the view to reflect its true movements. If the symbol attempts to
leave the view, the presentation is automatically adjusted.
Relative
In Relative mode, the view is continuously updating its geographical position and
orientation based on the vessel movements. The vessel symbols is kept motionless at
the centre of the view.
