Procedure
Note
Do not open the unit. There are no serviceable parts inside. High voltages are used. You
may be exposed to electric shock.

Make sure that the Transceiver Unit is kept clean and dry.

Make sure that the unit is not exposed to excessive dust and vibrations.

Check for physical damage to the cabinet and/or the cables.

Remove dust and salt water residue with a soft cloth moistened in fresh water. Use a
mild detergent.

Do not
use strong solvents.

Visual inspection of the hull unit
Regular inspections of the hull unit is required to make sure that it operates properly.
Prerequisites
Neither tools nor instruments are required. You will however need a commercially available
mild detergent and a lint free cloth.
Two persons are needed to do the task.
• One person must stay on the bridge in order to operate the CS90 system.
• One person must stay in the sonar room to make sure that the CS90 system starts, and
that the hull unit works properly.
Proper oral communication must exist between the bridge and the sonar room.
