Imaging

Imaging applications provide long-range detection for monitoring and navigation.

Description

Imaging applications use the highest pulse power. They use pulse durations to get reliable
long-range detection. The trade-off is a reduction in the ping rate, partially due to the long
range, and partially to maintain power consumption within reasonable limits.

We recommend a maximum vessel speed of five knots for imaging applications.
