The PA interface box connects the conference phone with an existing PA system. To match
several types of situations and equipment, there are some settings available in the Konftel 300IP
menu, see “SETTINGS”.

Connecting the PA interface box
Always disconnect the power supply from the electrical outlet before disconnecting or con-
necting equipment to the Konftel 300IP.
Connect the PA interface box to the AUX port on Konftel 300IP with the included cable.
Connect the external amplifier to the RCA connector marked with a speaker.
Connect the microphone mixer to the RCA connector marked with a microphone.

Upgrading the software in the Konftel 300IP
Check the conference phone’s
IP ADDRESS

Log into the web server in Konftel 300IP by entering the phone’s IP address in your compu-
ter’s web browser.
Select
Admin
as Profile and enter your PIN.
Select
Settings

Provisioning

Click on
Check Now
.
Select the latest version and click on
Upgrade
.
The browser window and the Konftel 300 IP display shows that the upgrading has begun.
Downloading and installation can take several minutes. Do not stop the upgrading process
or unplug the Konftel 300IP during the upgrade as this may render the conference phone
inoperable.
When the installation process is completed, the words “Upgrade Complete. The unit will be
rebooted.” appear in the web browser and shortly after you will hear the Konftel signature
tune which indicates that the conference phone has started.
