3.
Set the parking brake switch to ON position (operate).
4.
Run the engine at low idle for approximately 5 minutes, and check each part for oil leakage.
5.
Bleed air from the steering cylinder according to the following procedure.
1) Run the engine at low idle, and operate the steering cylinder to around the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
2) Run the engine at high idle, and operate the steering cylinder to around the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
6.
Bleed air from the steering cylinder of bucket and boom according to the following procedure.
1) Run the engine at low idle, and operate each cylinder of bucket, and boom to approximately 100 mm
before the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
2) Run the engine at high idle, and operate each cylinder of bucket, and boom to approximately 100 mm
before the stroke end 4 to 5 times.
3) Run the engine at low idle, and operate each cylinder of bucket, and boom to the stroke end 4 to 5
times.
7.
Stop the engine.
8.
Open cover (1) at the right side of cab, and fix it with the
bar.
9.
Loosen air bleeding plug (2) of the hydraulic tank, and
bleed air from the hydraulic tank.
10. After the oil flows out and the air is bled completely, then
tighten plug (2).
11. Check the oil level. For the procedure, see “METHOD FOR
CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN HYDRAULIC TANK, ADDING
OIL (4-47)”.
If the oil level is low, add oil.
12. Start the engine.
13. Next, increase the engine speed (approximately 1500 rpm), and bleed air according to the steps 5 to 10.
Repeat this work until no air is discharged from plug (2).
14. After bleeding air, tighten plug (2).
Tightening torque: 11.3±1.47 Nm {1.15± 0.15 kgm}
15. Release the lock of cover (1) at the right side of cab, then close the cover.
16. Check the oil level. For the procedure, see “METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN HYDRAULIC TANK,
METHOD FOR BLEEDING AIR FROM FUEL CIRCUIT
This machine is equipped with the fuel feed pump to bleed air from the fuel circuit.
In the following cases, bleed air according to the following procedure.
