
METHOD FOR LOWERING WORK EQUIPMENT WHEN STOPPING ENGINE

WARNING
Check safety of the area around the machine before lowering the work equipment.
1.
Turn the starting switch to ON position (B).
2.
Press (a) of the work equipment lock switch to unlock the
work equipment.
The work equipment lock pilot lamp on the machine moni-
tor goes out.
3.
Operate the work equipment control levers, and lower the
work equipment to the ground.
4.
Set the work equipment control lever to “HOLD” position.
5.
Press (a) of the work equipment lock switch to lock the
work equipment.
The work equipment lock pilot lamp on the machine moni-
tor lights up.
6.
Turn the starting switch to OFF position (A).
REMARK
The operation must be done within 2 minutes after the en-
gine stops.
If the engine is kept stopped, the gas pressure in the accu-
mulator lowers and you cannot lower the work equipment
to the ground.
