FRAME LOCK BAR

WARNING
• When performing maintenance or transporting the machine, always set the frame lock bar to LOCK
position.
• Always disengage the frame lock bar when traveling. If it is not disengaged, the steering wheel be-
comes inoperative and this may lead to serious personal injury or death.
This is a device used to lock the front and rear frames to pre-
vent the machine from articulating during maintenance or trans-
porting the machine.
(L) LOCK position:
The front and rear frames are locked and the machine does not
articulate. Set the bar to this position for inspection and mainte-
nance during maintenance or transporting the machine.
(F) FREE position: Set the bar to this position for normal opera-
tion.
METHOD OF USING TOWING PIN
1.
Hold the handle (2) of towing pin (1), pull it up slowly, and
keep it in the stopped position.
2.
Turn the handle (2) counterclockwise from A to B, pull it up
slowly until it stops, and keep it in the stopped position.
