Remove the cap of oil filler port (F).

Place a container under drain plug (3) to catch the drained
oil.

Remove drain plug (3).
7.
Open drain valve (4) gradually to drain the oil.
8.
After draining the oil, close drain valve (4) and tighten
drain plug (3).
Tightening torque
Drain plug (3): 68.6 ± 9.8 Nm {7.0 ± 1.0 kgm}
Drain valve (4): 63.7 ± 14.7 Nm {6.5 ± 1.5 kgm}

Remove bolts (5) (6 pieces) and remove cover (6).
When doing this, if the O-ring of the cover is damaged or
deteriorated, replace it.
10. Hold the top of rod (7) and pull it up to remove strainer (8).
11. Remove any dirt stuck to strainer (8), then wash it in flush-
ing oil.
If strainer (8) is damaged, replace it with a new one.
12. Refill with the specified quantity of hydraulic oil through oil
filler port (F), then install the cap.
13. Check the hydraulic oil level.
Check that the hydraulic oil is at the specified level. For
details, see “METHOD FOR CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN
HYDRAULIC TANK, ADDING OIL (4-42)”.

• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
• When removing the oil filler cap, the oil may spout out. Turn it slowly to release the internal pres-
sure, then remove it carefully.
