1.
Check that there are no people or obstacles around the area.
2.
Start the engine and set the lock lever (1) to FREE position
(F).
3.
If you have to travel on a road, align the marks and secure
the outriggers and the bucket with safety cords.
4.
Engage the boom swing control pedal (2).
5.
Check that the outriggers or the blade have been raised
and that the work equipment are raised from the ground by
at least 40-50 cm.
6.
Check that the work brake is disengaged. For detail, see
“BRAKES PEDAL (3-106)”.
7.
Check that the control levers are in neutral position.
8.
Check that the axle lock is deactivated. For detail, see
“AXLE LOCK SWITCH (3-94)”.
9.
Check the turret alignment, and align it if necessary. For
detail, see “TURRET ALIGNMENT INDICATOR (3-42)”.
10. Check the alignment of the rear wheels, and align them if necessary. For detail, see “INDICATOR FOR
SIGNALLING THE REAR WHEELS ARE NOT ALIGNED (3-43)”.
11. Put the hand throttle (3) to the desired engine speed. For detail, see “FUEL CONTROL DIAL (3-93)”.
12. Select the forward gear (F) with the switch on the right joy-
stick (4).
13. Press the drive pedal to the floor and when the machine
reaches its maximum speed press the switch in direction
(a).
The light (c) comes on and the drive pedal locks in place.
14. To deactivate the system just press the brake pedal or put
the switch to direction (b).
The light (c) switches off and the drive pedal releases and
can be used normally.
