AXLE LOCK SWITCH
NOTICE
Do not use axle locking when moving at a high speed. Only use when moving slowly.
If the automatic mode is operative, the axle stays unlocked until the brake pedal is in the working brake
position. For more information about the brake pedal see “BRAKE PEDAL (3-114)”
All digging and lifting operations are carried out with the working brake engaged.
The switch is used to set the axle locking in two modes.
Press (a) to select the axle locking mode.
Release the switch and press (b) to use the automatic axle
locking mode.
Each time the axle locking mode is selected, the state is dis-
played on the monitor.
If it is operating in automatic mode, the axle remains unlocked
until the working brake is engaged. For details, see “BRAKE
PEDAL (3-114)”
PARKING BRAKE SWITCH
NOTICE
• Do not engage the parking brake when the machine is moving.
• The parking brake is engaged when the lever for locking the controls in on LOCK (locked).
The switch is used to engage and disengage the parking brake.
When engaged, also the machine controls are locked.

Parking brake disengaged and machine controls unlocked.
The engagement of the parking brake is displayed on the moni-
tor.
Each time that it is engaged, the machine monitor displays the
icon (a) enlarged for 2 seconds.
After 2 seconds the monitor returns to a normal display.
F/N/R SWITCH
The switch is located on the right joystick and is used to select
the translation direction.

Neutral
(R)
Reverse
Each time that a direction of travel is engaged, the machine
monitor displays the selected direction (a) enlarged for 2 seconds.
After 2 seconds the monitor returns to a normal display.
