OPERATION OF QUICK COUPLER
TO RELEASE A BUCKET OR ATTACHMENT

WARNING
The pressure of the system could cause injury. Follow all instructions “METHOD FOR REMOVING AND
INSTALLING ATTACHMENTS” in this section.
If the bucket or attachment has any hydraulic connections to the machine these must be disconnected before
proceeding.
Button (1) function
(a) :quick coupler ready for activation (bucket/attachment re-
lease)
(b) . quick coupler deactivated (bucket/attachment lock)
The switch has a safety lock mechanism to prevent accidental
operation. Slide the lock towards you then rock the switch. The
lamp on the switch lights.
NOTICE
Operation will only take place if button (2) is also pressed.
When switch (1) is in position “a”, the quick coupler light is dis-
played on the monitor and the alarm buzzer operates continu-
ously.

Position the attachment on the ground safely where it is to be left. Take care that it will not roll or slide after
release.
2.
Position the switch (1) to “a”.
The quick coupler is ready to be enabled.
