METHOD FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE REAR AXLE OIL

WARNING
Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury.
Consequently, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
This operation must be carried out the machine parked on level ground and at a temperature so that the oil be-
comes fluid and can be drained easily, which facilitates the elimination of any suspended solid particles.
Differential
1.
Slowly loosen the plug (3) to discharge the pressure.
2.
Remove the discharge plug (2) and completely drain the used oil. While the oil flows out, remove the filler
plug (1).
Use a 12 mm wrench.
3.
Fit the plug (2) and fill via the plug (1) using the prescribed
oil until reaching the level corresponding to the lower edge
of the hole.
4.
Fit the plug (1).
Final reduction gears
1.
Position the reduction gear so that the plug (3) is in the low position on the vertical axis.
2.
Remove the plug (3) and discharge the used oil.
Use a 12 mm wrench.
