9.
Check that the hydraulic oil temperature caution lamp (6)
displays proper temperature.
• (A) Display when temperature is correct: Caution lamp
background (C) is blue.
• (B) Display when temperature is low: Caution lamp
background (C) is white.
If hydraulic oil temperature caution lamp (6) displays low
temperature, repeat steps 6 to 10 until the lamp displays
the proper temperature.
10. Check that engine coolant temperature caution lamp (1)
displays the correct temperature.
• (A) Display when temperature is correct: Caution lamp
background (C) is blue.
• (B) Display when temperature is low: Caution lamp
background (C) is white.
If engine coolant temperature caution lamp (1) displays
low temperature, perform warm-up operation until the cor-
rect temperature is displayed.
For details of the caution lamps, see “METHOD FOR EN-
GINE WARM-UP OPERATION (3-177)”.
11. Check that hydraulic oil temperature caution lamp (6) and
engine coolant temperature caution lamp (1) display the
correct temperature, then check that all the caution lamps,
pilot lamps, and gauges on the machine monitor are in the
following conditions.
• Charge level caution lamp (7): OFF
• Engine oil pressure caution lamp (8): OFF
• Engine preheating pilot lamp (9): OFF
• Engine coolant temperature gauge (10): Indicator in
the green range
• Engine coolant temperature caution lamp (1): displays
correct temperature
• Hydraulic oil temperature gauge (11) Indicator is in
green range
• Hydraulic oil temperature caution lamp (6): displays
correct temperature
• Fuel gauge (12): Indicator is in green range
• Fuel level caution lamp (13): Displays appropriate lev-
el
12. Check for abnormal exhaust gas color, noise, or vibration.
If any abnormality is found, contact your Komatsu distributor.
13. Hydraulic system warm-up operation in cold weather
NOTICE
In cold temperatures (ambient temperature below 0°C (32°F)), even when the hydraulic oil tempera-
ture caution lamp displays the proper temperature, perform the "warm-up operation for hydraulic
equipment in cold temperatures" to warm up all the hydraulic equipment.
