Battery disconnect switch (1) is used for cutting out the electric-
ity from the battery.
This is installed in the battery box at right of the machine.
REMARK
Operate this switch while system operating lamp (2) is OFF.
(O): OFF position
Switch key (1) can be pulled out (and inserted) and the current
from the battery is cut out.
(I): ON position
The current from the battery flows into the circuit.
Before starting the machine, be sure to set the switch to this
position.
SYSTEM OPERATING LAMP
System operating lamp (1) indicates that the controller mount-
ed on the machine is turned ON.
Lamp (1) lights up in green when the controller is turned ON
and goes out in 1 to 6 minutes after the starting switch is turned
to OFF position.
Before operating the battery disconnect switch, check that lamp
(1) is not lit.
NOTICE
If the battery disconnect switch is turned OFF while the
lamp is lit, the data in the controller may be lost.
REMARK
• Even if the starting switch is in OFF position, the controller may operate. The lamp lights up in this situation,
but it is not a failure.
• After the starting switch has been turned OFF, the system operating lamp may stay lit for a long time.
In such case, consult your Komatsu distributor.
