Check Electric Wiring
CAUTION
If fuses frequently break or the circuit breaker is frequently actuated, or if there are signs of short circuits
on the electric wiring, investigate the cause immediately and ask your Komatsu distributor to carry out
repairs.
Keep the top of the battery clean. Check the breather holes in the battery caps. If they are clogged with
mud, wash the battery cap and remove the clogging.
Check that no fuses or circuit breakers are damaged. Check that the specified capacity fuses are being used.
Check that there are no disconnections of the electric wiring and that there are no signs of short circuits. Check
also for loose terminals and tighten if necessary.
Be particularly careful to check the battery, starting motor, and alternator wiring.
Always check that no flammable materials are accumulated around the battery. Remove any such materials.
Please consult your Komatsu distributor about investigating causes and carrying out repairs.
